Bilingual Telephone interviewing positions
Description
The Jeffersonville, IN. Telephone Center at the U.S. Census Bureau, National Processing Center has intermittent permanent positions open for individuals who are bilingual (any language) and US citizens.
Applicants will receive extensive training on the assigned surveys, interviewing techniques and computer terminal operations techniques.
MAJOR DUTIES:
*Calling respondent and collecting information over the phone.
*Obtaining and recording information on aquestionnaire or computer.
*Conducting demographic surveys with most work hours on weekends and evenings.
Requirements
Applicants MUST be proficient in English and another language. An applicant must be able to converse, read, write and translate to and from English and 2nd language.
