The DISCOVER Career Assessment is an online assessment created and updated annually
by ACT. This assessment, which requires a user id, is comprised of three inventories—interests,
abilities, and values—that students complete to assist them in clarifying their
academic and career goals. When students complete the DISCOVER assessment, they
can continue to access the website, with their user id, to research occupations.
Note: The best way to learn about the modules and instruct your students on how to complete
them is to
complete the modules as a student.
You must request a user ID for every student who will be taking DISCOVER. To get
DISCOVER IDs for your class, complete the user id request
form. Allow 7 days for the IDs to be emailed to you.
