Metropolitan College is a partnership among UPS, Jefferson Community and Technical College, the University of Louisville, state, county and city government. The purpose of Metropolitan College is to provide educational and workplace opportunities that serve to facilitate the integration of educational goals, career development and personal life.
Jefferson Community and Technical College provides comprehensive educational services to the region. The college has five campuses that serve over 13,000 students in both urban and rural settings. KentuckianaWorks is a business-led, policy-setting board that oversees workforce development initiatives in the Greater Louisville region.
